It’s
already time to think about winding down for the semester. But we have a few
special events saved up for the end of the year. Spring Banquet: We’ve invited Hyde Park UMC youth to join
us for our final Banquet of the year. We’ll enjoy some time playing games
together, have dinner together, then worship together.
We will be considering what it means that we are “new creations” in Christ. Year-End Picnic: To celebrate our year together as a youth
fellowship, we’ll be hosting a big picnic on Saturday, June 17 for all students
and their families. Come join us as we break out our new grill for a
party-sized cookout. We’ll also look back at the year, think about what went
well and what we could change, recognize our seniors, and just enjoy each
other’s company. Sign up to attend and bring a side to share. The schedule for this month… Date Activity Details May 28 No meeting Memorial Day June 4 Spring Banquet Games, dinner and worship, 5:30 – 8

fall and what will be in store for our youth ministry. We will be looking for a
few new youth leaders for both the junior high and senior high groups. And
there are other surprising ways for you to support our youth – some of these
ways may be less time-consuming and could truly bless you as you use your
particular gifts to build up the youth in their faith. Please pray and if you
feel led, please tear off and return the form to Pastor Rebecca’s mailbox at
the church. ____ Yes! I
