TGIF News!

Teen Group in fellowship made its debut on Friday, January 9, 2004. A good time was had by all! You’re invited to join in, and relax. No programs. Just come, hang-out with friends from church, bring your friends from school, play games, ping-pong, fussball, sing karaoke, eat snacks, and just chill out.

When is it? Every 1^st and 3^rd Friday nights, 7-10 p.m.**

Who’s it for? Youth ages 12-20. You and people you want to be with.

Where is it? At PUMC Fellowship Hall & Lounge (Watch for theme nights!)

Heads Up (for the congregation):

· We will be looking for more adult chaperones for TGIF. This is an easy way to get to know the youth of our church. Sign up for one evening at a time, or for several. If you’re interested, contact Pastor Rebecca, pastorrebecca@pokumc.org.

· Please support our Senior High Youth as they approach you to raise money for the World Vision Thirty Hour Famine, an effort to stop world hunger.

· Don’t be surprised if a Junior High Youth knocks on your door on the evening of Feb. 29 and asks for a can of food. They’ll be raising support for a local food pantry.
